How do you keep my belongings safe?
All our buildings are equipped with climate and humidity control to ensure optimal storage conditions for your belongings. In addition, our buildings are protected with fire and intrusion alarms.
Are my goods protected against theft?
Our storage rooms are equipped with burglary protection. When you deposit your Box at Box@Home, it is sealed as standard. You can also choose to equip your Box with an extra padlock. You can order our padlocks here.

If your Box stays with you, we recommend (highly) purchasing a padlock.
What is not allowed in my Box?
Are my belongings insured?
Our storage spaces meet the strictest safety standards. Moreover, most fire insurance policies also cover your belongings or household contents when they are stored externally. We recommend that you check this in your insurance policy. Box@Home itself does not offer any additional insurance. See our general insurance certificate. For more information, click here.
Can I access my Box when it is in storage?
Yes, you can ask to have your Box(es) returned or to be made ready for inspection at a Box@Home location.
How can I change my personal details?
You can change your personal details via your profile on our online app.
I have lost or forgotten my password. What should I do?
Click on the ‘Forgotten password’ link in the login screen (via ‘Log in’ in the menu at the top). Enter your email address there. You’ll receive an email with instructions and a link to reset your password. Enter a new password of your choice and confirm your new password. You can now log in with the new password you have entered.
